Antenatal services relocated from Withington Community Hospital in order to ‘protect the safety of service users and staff’

Changes have been made to south Manchester maternity services in order to minimise the risk of transmission of Covid-19.

From today (September 14), community midwifery services at Withington Community Hospital have been relocated to the Borchardt Medical Centre, which is also in Withington.

Meanwhile, consultant and midwifery-led antenatal clinics will relocate to Trafford General Hospital.

Women needing blood tests for gestational diabetes will be able to access services via Wythenshawe Hospital.

Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust said the changes would maintain a local antenatal service for women while also being part of safety measures in response to the coronavirus pandemic.

“No, no, everything is quite fine. I just got a little bit tired at the end of the third set with really physical match that we had,” he told a news conference.

“My shoulder started to hurt just a little. And in order not to finish the third set, imagine I would serve one serve, and I don’t know, just pull my shoulder.

“I call the physio, so he took care of it. I was cramping a little bit, so
