Your costs are lowest when you choose a PPO network dentist. Non-PPO dentists can (and most do) participate with BCBSM on a per-claim basis through our Blue Par Select arrangement. Not all Blue Dental plans cover services with a Blue Par Select dentist (i.e. Blue Dental EPO, Medicare Advantage and Healthy Kids). It’s important to check with your dentist and confirm participation before making an appointment or receiving treatment. Be sure to mention if you have a Medicare Advantage plan or Healthy Kids, as these use different networks than our other plans.
