“I went here because it was on my insurance list and while I loved Rebecca Jones the dental hygienist, I was not impressed with the dentist Dr. Spurgas. For personal reasons I decided to come back closer to home. After calling Dental Works and asking if I could have my X-Rays and being told YES, I drove down from Hudson… to Hickory to get my them, only to be told that they didn’t have the correct paper needed to print them on, but that they could email them to the dentist I was changing to. I filled out a release form with the email address for my new dentist and was assured that they would send them right away. The next day I called my new dentist to make sure they had received the X-Rays and was informed they had received NO EMAIL from Dental Works. I called Dental Works and gave them the email address again, and once again they assured me they would send the X-Rays right away. I waited a hour, called my new dentist…NO X-rays. So I called Dental Works back, reaffirmed the email address again, and was going to offer the phone number to my new dentist, but the receptionist hung up on me. I called my new dentist, explained what happened, she took the number for Dental Works and said she would try but they had experienced this before from that company. My recommendation is to stay away from Dental Works and find yourself a reputable dentist for your teeth. See More”

They were very professional from start to finish, and the tech and the dentist did a GREAT job of making sure I was comfortable as they extracted the remnants of the tooth out. They also are using cutting edge technology – they showed me the panoramic x-ray on an HD monitor, pointed out exactly what the issue was, what needed to be done, how much it would cost me as well as how much of my insurance annual limit would be utilized, answered all of my questions about the procedure, and then proceeded to go ahead and remove the tooth. I was skeptical because of the Aug. 15th review, but gave them a chance because they were the only dentist on my insurance in the area. They have definitely earned another visit from me.”
