Former Miss World champion Rosanna Davison has shared details of her fitness journey during her pregnancy, and has admitted that breastfeeding her twin boys may prove challenging.
In July, the 34-year-old model and nutritionist revealed that she and her husband Wes Quirke are expecting twin boys in November, just one year after their daughter Sophia was born via surrogate.
Rosanna has spoken frankly and bravely in the past about her struggle to conceive, sharing heartbreaking details of the 14 miscarriages she suffered and her fears that she would never be able to sustain a pregnancy.
As her due date fast approaches, Rosanna spoke to the Irish Mirror about her fitness journey over the last seven months, revealing that she has been training three times a week with Jessie Kavanagh of Inform Fitness.
The Dublin woman stated that her pre-natal training has been designed safely, in line with medical advice, and has helped her to improve her core strength.
She said: ‘It’s helping me to feel strong, so come my due date hopefully it will help with the recovery as well.’
Rosanna also stated that she hopes to breastfeed her twin boys, but acknowledged that this may prove challenging.
She said: ‘I’m very much in favour of breastfeeding and it’s the best approach for babies but it all depends on how effectively I can do it but I’ll give it a go.
‘Ultimately I feel it’s the best to do what’s right for you and your babies. A fed baby is a happy baby.’
Rosanna added: ‘Once they’re getting enough food, that’s the main thing.’
