The South Texas Veterans Health Care System has updated its Visitation Policy. Currently, there is a temporary “no visitor” policy at the Audie L. Murphy Veterans Hospital in San Antonio. Additionally, there is no visitation at the Kerrville Community Living Center.
VA is monitoring the novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV). Call your local VA medical center if you have symptoms and have recently returned from China or have been exposed to others diagnosed with the virus.
One of the most exciting changes brought by the VA MISSION Act, is the new Urgent Care benefit. There are some requirements to qualify for this benefit. Read the Urgent Care fact sheet, then find the nearest urgent care clinic in VA’s Community Care Network. Get all of that information here.
ATTENTION VETERANS!!! If you utilize your urgent care benefit, and the urgent care clinic provides a prescription, please download this Urgent Care Prescription Card, or print it and keep it with you at all times. You will need to present this information to the retail pharmacist.
