Veterans, if you have flu-like symptoms such as fever, cough and shortness of breath, call the VA Desert Pacific Healthcare Network (VISN 22) Nurse Advice Line at 1 (877) 252-4866 before you visit your local medical center or community clinic. In addition to calling first, consider using virtual care options such as telehealth or My HealtheVet Secure Messaging. Visitors, if you do not feel well, please postpone your visit. Read VA’s latest information on the new coronavirus at https://www.va.gov/coronavirus/.

Effective immediately, the SAVAHCS including the Tucson VA Fisher House is implementing a no visitor policy, meaning that visitors will be unable to see hospital patients and will be prohibited from accompanying Veterans to out-patient appointments at all clinics unless they are directly assisting or caring for a patient. The only exception is in compassionate care, where Veterans are in their last stages of life and receiving palliative or hospice care.
